goban reunion - 2025

project initiated by marc buchy to update the chess play "reunion" by marcel duchamp & john cage (1968) but nowadays with a 19x19 goban - the board and the case has been develloped and built by yann leguay with the insetimable help of guillaume bernier & merlin tessier during the fall 2024 - the board embeds 361 photoresistors and becomes a matrix, a 60 cv outputs interface for any modular eurorack format - plus a quadriphonic output and mixer - this objetct takes part of a wider project called "hoshi go club" with a series of actions, texts, and graphical works
